We serve as a last-resort organization, supporting trustees and other local organizations in their efforts to provide a collaborative full support system for families facing eviction or foreclosure. If families are in a mobile home park the may face both.
Our mission is to aid those when all hope seems lost and no other resources are available. This prevention is critical in reducing homelessness in Indiana, where over 16,000 individuals experience homelessness on any given night, with more than 1,500 living in hotels or motels due to the lack of affordable housing options (Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority, 2023; Indiana Coalition for Human Services, 2023).
