Our organization was founded to bridge the gaps in existing assistance programs so that no family is left without full support. Through partnerships with local organizations and community donors, we work hard to ensure neighbors have access to the assistance they need to stay safe, housed and together with dignity

Open Doors is a youth enrichment program that removes financial, developmental, and accessibility barriers so children can participate in activities that help them learn, grow, and thrive.
Through partnerships with local organizations, instructors, and program directors, we connect children from low-income and underserved families with inclusive opportunities in dance, arts, sports, education, and more.
We are honored to partner with Eclipse Performing Arts in
Chesterton to expand access to dance opportunities for children across Northwest Indiana.
Open Doors may assist with tuition, registration fees, uniforms, required attire, equipment, and other participation costs because we believe every child deserves the chance to build confidence, develop new skills, discover their passions, and shine—regardless of their family’s financial circumstances.
We know this is highly inconvenient! We are just a baby org trying! This policy allows us to help the most families we can until we can secure better funding!
(This policy does not include holiday assistance.)
