🚨🏠 URGENT: Help Keep a Porter County Family Housed Before July 20th 🏠🚨

A Porter County single mother of four young children is facing eviction on July 21st — but with the support of her community, we have a real opportunity to prevent it!

This mother is a verified survivor of domestic violence who has worked incredibly hard to rebuild stability and provide a safe home for her children. After going several months without any transportation, she was able to regain access to a vehicle, only to face costly new necessary repairs that created more unexpected financial hardships.

Combined with rising utility costs, inflation, reduced work hours, and increased everyday expenses now all on her shoulders, these challenges created a financial crisis that became impossible to overcome alone. Returning to an abusive partner for financial support is NOT an option, so she has turned toys with trust and hope. 

Before Santa Delivers AYR steps in with housing assistance, families must first demonstrate that they have exhausted all other available options. This mother has done exactly that.

✅ She is a working single mother.

✅ She has pursued every available resource first. 

✅ She has personally raised $1,000 toward her balance.

✅ St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church has pledged $300.

✅ Nativity of Our Savior Church has pledged $300.

✅ Her Township Trustee has already reached out and expressed commitment to assist after she completes her appointment today.

✅ First Contact has also informed her to reach back out after she meets with the Trustee.

We have verified her situation directly with property management, and they have confirmed that if we can raise enough to bring her balance to the required halfway threshold, they will stop the eviction process and allow her to enter into a realistic and reasonable payment plan.

There is a clear path to keeping this family housed — but time is running out.
